Stamping

In the press shop, the body parts of the car are manufactured from metal sheets and coils with a maximum stamping force of 20.000 kN.

Production line

The pressed parts are then delivered by logistics either directly to the production line in the body shop or to an interim storage facility.

Body shop

Body shop: multi-functional robots build the car body, joining the parts by means of various techniques like clinching, adhesive bonding, welding and pressing. The so-called “raw” car body is complete.

Body sorter

Raw, unpainted bodies will move by way of a closed automated transportation system into the body sorting building.

Surface treatment

In the paint shop, after the body receives special pre-treatment and cleaning, various coating layers are applied on it.

Assembly

In the assembly shop every internal part gets built in the car and this is where it receives the complete control system as well. A ready-made car will roll off the production line in the assembly shop.

Transport

After the cars go through all the tests, they will be transported on road or by means of cargo trains to the logistic distribution center. From here the cars will eventually get to the customers.
