Jens Bühler took over up the position of plant manager and CEO of the Mercedes-Benz factory in Kecskemét (Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft.) from January. In his new role, Bühler, who has held various management positions at the company for 21 years, will be responsible for the ongoing expansion of the plant and the integration of future models of the MMA (Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture) and MBEAM (Mercedes-Benz Electric Architecture Midsize) platforms into production.
“It is a great honour to be appointed as the plant manager of the factory, which I was previously responsible for expanding. Thanks to the ongoing development, Kecskemét will become one of the most significant Mercedes-Benz plants in the world. The coming years hold exciting challenges with the introduction of future »Made in Kecskemét« models, in which I really count on the great team of the Kecskemét plant" – said Jens Bühler.
Bühler took over the management of Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. from Christian Wolff in January 2024 - who managed the plant for eight years before retiring.
