Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. will produce new generation compact cars as well. Daimler AG will invest HUF 185 billion until 2018 in the development of technology and the expansion of its production capacity. In addition to the construction of a new body shop, new effective and innovative equipment will also be installed at the plant.
The Kecskemét plant is already a significant pillar in the production network of compact cars, the development will further strengthen its role.
