EMPLOYEES OF THE MERCEDES-BENZ PLANT PICKED GARBAGE THIS YEAR, TOO
Employees of the Mercedes-Benz plant took part in the “PickItUp” - Volunteers for a Cleaner Hungary campaign this year again. Upon the initiative of factory employees, more than eighty volunteers collected 300 bags of garbage and 60 cubic meters of waste stored in containers in the Homokbánya district of Kecskemét, where the apartment rentals for plant workers are located as well.

FURTHER INNOVATION AT THE MERCEDES-BENZ PLANT IN KECSKEMÉT
Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. will produce new generation compact cars as well. Daimler AG will invest HUF 185 billion until 2018 in the development of technology and the expansion of its production capacity. In addition to the construction of a new body shop, new effective and innovative equipment will also be installed at the plant.

AS FROM THIS YEAR, CHILDREN CAN ATTEND THE MERCEDES-BENZ SCHOOL AND TAKE PART IN THE TWO-LANGUAGE EDUCATION
The Mercedes-Benz School was established in 2009 with the joint collaboration of the General Cultural Center of German Citizens living in Hungary, the city of Kecskemét and Daimler AG. The school follows the curriculum valid in Baden-Württemberg and children receive a certificate equal to a certificate issued in Germany.
