A MONTH OF HEALTH ANNOUNCED AT THE KECSKEMÉT MERCEDES-BENZ PLANT
Each November since 2015 has been a month of health at the Kecskemét Mercedes-Benz plant. Health protection, prevention, and sports are among the company’s top priorities, and during November, colleagues have the opportunity to take part in a number of medical screenings and various health promotion programmes.

FRESH GRADUATES FROM THE FOREMAN TRAINING PROGRAM OF THE KECSKEMÉT PLANT
A new group of 24 graduates have received their Hungarian-German diplomas certifying completion of the one-year foreman training course at Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. and the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce co-founded the foreman training in 2016 to be provided to plant staff. The first set of graduates were awarded their diplomas last autumn.

MERCEDES-BENZ ACADEMY KECSKEMÉT TRAINING CENTRE HANDED OVER
The inaugural ceremony of the new training centre of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét that was erected in hardly a year has recently taken place. The 8000 m2 Mercedes-Benz Academy Kecskemét is located next to Csillag Day-care Center and Kindergarten on the premises of the car plant.

THE MILLIONTH CAR IS COMPLETED
The 1.000.000th compact car, proud to be wearing the label „Made in Kecskemét” rolled off the assembly line. The order for the beautiful white AMG-line car was placed at an Italian dealership and the car traveled all the way from Bács-Kiskun County to its new owner to Tuscany.

THE FIRST MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS MADE IN HUNGARY IS COMPLETE
A few weeks after production began in the Rastatt plant the Mercedes-Benz Plant in Kecskemét also launched the production of the new A-Class. This is the first factory outside Germany where the production of this innovative vehicle was started. With the new model in addition to the CLA and CLA Shooting Brake the plant in Hungary proudly continues to have a very attractive production profile.

THE NEW MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS WILL ALSO BE PRODUCED IN KECSKEMÉT
It was announced in Amsterdam on February 2nd 2018 that the production of the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class would be launched in Kecskemét this spring. The new generation model was introduced by Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars Division Dr. Dieter Zetsche. The new compact class model is equipped with the most modern technologies.
