FRESH GRADUATES FROM THE FOREMAN TRAINING PROGRAM OF THE KECSKEMÉT PLANT

A new group of 24 graduates have received their Hungarian-German diplomas certifying completion of the one-year foreman training course at Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. and the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce co-founded the foreman training in 2016 to be provided to plant staff. The first set of graduates were awarded their diplomas last autumn.

The Kecskemét plant and the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce together adapted the key modules of the German training course developed by Daimler to Hungarian needs. In addition to expanding professional knowledge, the training is also aimed at equipping participants with a wide range of management skills. Subjects range from economics to motivational and communication courses to include even quality management and a number of others. Following successful completion participants are awarded with a bilingual (Hungarian and German) diploma.

In the future these courses, too, will be housed by the newly opened Mercedes-Benz Academy Kecskemét.
