Students of the Mercedes-Benz Academy in Kecskemét triumphed in the tool and fixture manufacturing category at the Szakma Sztár Festival on May 10, earning two podium finishes. Nine students represented Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. in three different professions during this nationwide competition.
Year after year, students enrolled in the Mercedes-Benz dual vocational training program achieve outstanding results in this multi-round professional contest, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2025, the competition featured nearly 60 professions and 11,900 applicants. Mercedes-Benz Academy Kecskemét was once again one of the host institutions of the event. This year, nine students competed under the banner of the Kecskemét plant, with two of them receiving 1st and 2nd place awards in the tool and fixture manufacturing category at the closing ceremony.
