The two-millionth vehicle, an all-electric EQB, rolled off the production line at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét, Hungary, in October. The popular electric models are an integral part of the compact car product portfolio at the site, alongside high-end internal-combustion vehicles and plug-in hybrids. The plant currently produces the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, CLA Coupé and Shooting Brake models, as well as the Mercedes-Benz EQB. Last year, more than 174,000 vehicles rolled off the assembly line in Kecskemét.
“Two million satisfied customers drive a Mercedes-Benz 'Made in Kecskemét'. This anniversary is the success of the employees who, with their expertise and passion, build the world's most desirable vehicles here every day. The quality and efficiency of the plant are exemplary in the entire production network of Mercedes-Benz Operations.”
